Jordi has over 25 years of experience in arts and music management. He holds a Law degree from Barcelona University, with additional studies in Intellectual Property at Stockholm University and Arts Management at Birkbeck University. Jordi spent more than seven years in London, where he directed the Catalan! Arts export office for the UK and Ireland, leading the creation and implementation of music and arts export strategies for the Catalan government.
In 2013, he partnered with Shain Shapiro to co-found Sound Diplomacy, combining his expertise in cultural policy and global collaboration.
Jordi is now the co-founder and CEO of Unison, a rights management company built on principles of efficiency and transparency through technology. Unison is Spain's first private, for-profit music copyright management operator and a pioneer in Europe. It is one of the first two private companies to be accepted as a Client RME by CISAC. Today, Unison manages the rights to more than 2.5 million songs for over 800 clients in 30 countries, representing more than 40,000 rights holders.
