Huntsville Recognized as One of Fast Company’s 10 Most Innovative Cities in Economic Development

Huntsville, Alabama, has been named one of Fast Company’s 10 Most Innovative Companies in Economic Development for 2025, highlighting the city’s bold investment in music as a driver of growth and community development.

Back in 2018, Huntsville set out to transform itself by commissioning a music audit, which laid the foundation for a five-year strategy to integrate music into its economic future. That vision has since paid off, leading to:

  • The creation of a Music Officer and Music Board

  • The Music Ambassador Program, supporting 40+ local artist tours

  • Investment in venues like Orion Amphitheater, Stovehouse, and Campus No. 805

  • A thriving music tourism sector, driving jobs and citywide growth

We’re thrilled to see Huntsville recognized after our work helping to launch its music strategy. Proof that investing in music creates lasting impact.
